Continuous forest rejuvenation is an important means of increasing forest resilience. It is only difficult to get such rejuvenation off the ground. Our forest ecosystems are vulnerable. Especially on sandy soils, vitality and biodiversity are under great pressure due to climate change, nitrogen deposition, acidification, desiccation, heat, insufficient variation in species, age, forest structure as well as wildlife pressure.
 

LIFE Climate Forest offers the opportunity to show the variety of protection measures against wildlife damage and the related visions of managers side by side in the same forest area. This with the aim of knowledge sharing and knowledge dissemination. At the same time, it offers the opportunity to monitor the effectiveness of the protection measures.
