Presentation: revitalisation of Brabant forests
Province of North Brabant organised the 2024 Forest Symposium on Friday 5 July. Together with BPG Vereniging landelijk Brabant, Bosgroep Zuid Nederland was allowed to provide the execution and interpretation. And apparently the subject and content appealed to a lot of people, because interested parties came in large numbers to estate Gorp and Roovert (Goirle) - also one of the sample forests From LIFE Climate Forest.
During the symposium, attendees were introduced to the Brabant Trees Action Plan and discovered the opportunities for and benefits of forest creation and revitalisation. One of the speakers at the symposium was Etiënne Thomassen (Bosgroep Zuid Nederland & LIFE Climate Forest). He took the attendees through a very appealing story on the 'Revitalisation of Brabant forests'.
