On Wednesday 15 April, students from Ghent University came to the Netherlands on an international excursion. They were guests of Bosgroep Zuid Nederland that day and also visited the LIFE Climate Forest demonstration site ’t Zand.

Etiënne Thomassen and Hans van Lommel from the Bosgroep provided more information on managing forest and nature areas in general, and climate-smart forestry in particular.

A total of 66 students from the Master's in Forestry and Nature Management and part of the Bachelor's were involved.
