Getting started with climate-smart forest management
Are you curious about the opportunities of climate-smart forest management or would you like to get started, but need more information and practical examples? There are several possibilities to join the project and see and experience the possibilities yourself.
You can do this by following the project, but also by participating in the various knowledge events that we will organise. We would also like to involve you in the further development and testing of the management method. We will share the valuable knowledge we already have, which we will supplement with new insights and experiences during the project, in all sorts of ways.
This is how we can inform everyone based on their role in forest management and introduce them to the possibilities of climate-smart forest management.

Sharing knowledge
Sharing and transferring valuable knowledge is central to LIFE Climate Forest. In the upcoming project years, we will organise all kinds of knowledge events in which we will be working with owners, managers, policymakers, and other stakeholders on this management type. This will include training sessions, excursions, presentations, and conferences.
Managers and owners will be given the opportunity to work with the project team and look at the management options for their specific situation. Attention is also paid to the translation into forestry policy. After all, policymakers play an important role in developing the policy and management of the future. For other stakeholders interested in this subject or with an interest in climate-smart forest management, it is also valuable to follow the project.
It is possible to join these knowledge moments. As soon as the set-up and dates are set, we will communicate this widely. You will find the information on this page, including a registration option.
In this way, LIFE Climate Forest aims to contribute to increasing the resilience of as many forests as possible.
