LIFE Climate Forest is possible thanks to the valuable cooperation between project partners Staatsbosbeheer and the Bosgroepen and the financial support of the LIFE-programma of the European Union and sponsors.

The project started in 2020 and will run for seven years. This means plenty of time to get started with small-scale climate-smart forest management and to share the knowledge and opportunities widely with managers, owners, policymakers and other stakeholders.
